I will be participating in two shows this week! Tonight I will be at Bistro Byronz in Baton Rouge from 6-9pm. There will be art on display, live music, and free hors d’oeuvres! Should be a good time!
Friday I will be in a show at Haven Gallery in downtown Baton Rouge. The show will run from 6-10pm and will be a bit more laid back. If your planning on going out that night, swing by for a bit! You can get more information from the Facebook page HERE!
Tonight I’ll be at Happy’s Irish Pub in downtown Baton Rouge painting with other local artists! The event is called The Art Meltdown Block Party. Painting should start around 9:30 and artwork will go to the highest bidder at the end of the night. This should be a fun event on a night full of creativity! So after you check out Art Melt, be sure to keep the night going and come say hi!
I just dropped of artwork for Tim’s Garage Pop-Up Shop this Friday! Gonna be a lot of great stuff to check out… clothing, jewelry, stickers, artwork, etc… and plenty of cool stuff on sale! My buddy Brad has been putting in hard work to bring together a great gallery/retail spot and display some of the talent in the area! Come by and see what he’s got going on! Spread the word!

This past year my son started school, and for many reasons we decided to make his lunch for him (mainly so it would be much healthier, and fresh). Along with this parental decision came the opportunity to do something creative and fun…
When I was a kid, my mom would write simple notes on my napkin so that I would receive a short encouraging message each day when I went to lunch. My son can’t read yet so i thought, “Why not do some drawings!?” This week I did the characters from Yo Gabba Gabba and i’ll continue to post these at the end of the weeks i do them. It has been a lot of fun to do, as well as challenging, and I can’t wait to see how our lunch box communication experiment develops over time!
This Saturday I will be participating in the 3 Year Anniversary event for Heart Throb Skateboards! I will be part of a group of local artists who will be on site painting/showing artwork. There will also be a skate jam/demo (so bring your boards or come ready to watch), product giveaways, autograph signings, and music. Event is Saturday, February 11th from 5-10pm at the BREC Skate Park on Perkins Road in Baton Rouge, LA. Check out the links below for more details! Come help us celebrate!
