  7. Found my stopping point for tonight. Still enjoying just letting this happen. The ideas are always in you, but sometimes the left side of your brain keeps getting in the way… just start :)

  8. Some process from something I started this week. I’m not 100% sure where this is going, but I just needed to start doing something. I’m not going to let uncertainty be an excuse to not partake in creative exercise. Sometimes you get into a rut and you just have to draw your way out of it.

  9. This past year my son started school, and for many reasons we decided to make his lunch for him (mainly so it would be much healthier, and fresh). Along with this parental decision came the opportunity to do something creative and fun…

When I was a kid, my mom would write simple notes on my napkin so that I would receive a short encouraging message each day when I went to lunch. My son can’t read yet so i thought, “Why not do some drawings!?” This week I did the characters from Yo Gabba Gabba and i’ll continue to post these at the end of the weeks i do them. It has been a lot of fun to do, as well as challenging, and I can’t wait to see how our lunch box communication experiment develops over time!
